The Cross (SC) varsity basketball team won Friday's home conference game against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC) by a score of 67-41.
The Cross Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Charleston Math & Science Riptide to 41 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Military Magnet Academy for a A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Cross will meet a Eagles team coming off a 84-27 league win over St. John's (John's Island, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 16-6.
The Riptide (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Phoenix enter the A Region 8 contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Palmetto Scholars Academy was routed by Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics (North Charleston, SC), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
