With the victory, Elgin improves its record to 10-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Georgetown (Georgetown, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 17-12. Georgetown lost 64-35 in their recent league challenge against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Pflugerville Connally will attempt to improve on its 5-21 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-14 record after their 73-26 league loss to East View (Georgetown, TX).
