Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), 52-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cedar Creek upgrades its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Georgetown (Georgetown, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 17-13. Georgetown lost 50-35 in their recent league bout against Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Pflugerville Panthers (Pflugerville, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, February 7.
