Connecticut High School Basketball - New Canaan overwhelms Westhill
January 27, 2023: New Canaan, CT 06840 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the visiting Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), saw New Canaan's basketball squad wallop Westhill by a count of 45-19.
With the victory, New Canaan upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Stamford (Stamford, CT) to play the Black Knights in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Stamford lost 44-35 in their recent league challenge against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
Next up, the Vikings play the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Westhill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 44-35 league win over Stamford (Stamford, CT).
