South Dakota High School Basketball - Crow Creek nudges Dupree
January 27, 2024: Dupree, SD 57623 Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD), 74-71 in a league bout.
With the win, Crow Creek upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Chieftains host Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD) to clash with the Sioux in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Sioux go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Lower Brule won 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Dupree will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD).
