Minnesota High School Basketball - Wayzata holds off Andover
January 27, 2024: Andover, MN 55304 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) and the host Andover Huskies (Andover, MN), saw Wayzata's basketball squad hold off Andover by a tally of 54-49.
With the victory, Wayzata improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. St. Michael-Albertville lost 76-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Andover will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 76-64 non-league win over Becker (Becker, MN).
