The Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers basketball squad (Berlin, PA), was nudged 65-58 in Monday's non-league battle with the host United Lions (Armagh, PA)

With the victory, United advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to meet the Blue Jays in a Heritage battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Blue Jays enter the battle with a record of 9-7. Conemaugh Valley lost 60-53 in their recent league battle against Portage (Portage, PA)

The Mountaineers now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meyersdale for a Inter County - West battle on Wednesday, January 29. Berlin Brothersvalley will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 73-56 non-league loss to Northern Garrett (Accident, MD). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-12.
