The Great Mills Hornets nipped the host McDonough Rams basketball squad by a final score of 52-46 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Hornets face the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Wednesday, January 29. Great Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Hurricanes enter the outing with a 9-4 record after their 64-60 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD).
