Georgia High School Basketball - Spencer thwarts Hardaway

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA) and the visiting Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA), observed Spencer's basketball team knock off Hardaway by a score of 70-50.

The Greenwave (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Raiders come into the AA Region 1 challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Shaw was knocked off by Carver (Columbus, GA), 77-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA) in a AA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Hardaway will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Red Jackets come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 77-42 league loss to Kendrick (Columbus, GA).
