The Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) basketball crushed the host Central Spartans (El Centro, CA), 58-36 in Monday's league bout.

The Scots now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to University City for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. Vincent Memorial will play a Centurions team coming off a 44-35 league win over Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Central falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Imperial (Imperial, CA) to play the Tigers in a Imperial Valley bout on Friday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Imperial won 41-27 in their recent league bout against Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA)
