The Marquette Catholic Blazers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Andrean Fighting 59ers to 63 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blazers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond Morton for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Marquette Catholic will battle a Governors team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Governors record now stands at 4-11.

The Fighting 59ers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, East Chicago Central ran past Gary West Side (Gary, IN), 65-41, in a league contest.
