The Cypress Springs Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Langham Creek Lobos to 51 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 25-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Wednesday, February 1. Cypress Springs will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-50 league loss to Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-15.

The Lobos (20-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 4-23 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park was defeated by Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX), 67-40, in a league contest.
