Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 42-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Elkins upgrades its record to 18-12 on the campaign. The Knights host Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX) to play the Hurricanes in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 27-3. Fort Bend Hightower won 79-41 in their recent league bout against George Ranch (Richmond, TX)

Next up, the Broncos play the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Fort Bend Bush will attempt to upgrade on its 11-18 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 1-23 record after their 65-33 league loss to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX).
