Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 33-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to New Caney (New Caney, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-8. New Caney won 44-27 in their recent league bout against Willis (Willis, TX)

Next up, the Broncos play the Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Fort Bend Bush will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Summer Creek (Houston, TX).
