The Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) basketball edged the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 49-44 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Washington Academy for a B North bout on Thursday, January 30. Mount Desert Island will play a Raiders team coming off a 72-43 non-league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 7-8.
