The Orono Riots (Orono, ME) basketball were winner over the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 56-46 in Friday's league bout.

The Riots now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Washington Academy for a B North bout on Tuesday, December 10. Orono will play a Raiders team coming off a 70-42 non-league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
