Maine High School Basketball - Mount Desert Island holds off Presque Isle
December 20, 2024: Mount Desert, ME 04660 The Mount Desert Island Trojans basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats to 68 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Houlton for a B North game on Friday, December 27.
With the loss, Presque Isle falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME) to confront the Eagles in a B North game on Saturday, December 21. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-1. Ellsworth lost 61-59 in their recent league game against Old Town (Old Town, ME)
