The Anson Bearcats were victorious over the host Central Academy Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 49-35 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Bearcats clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River outing, on Friday, January 31. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the outing with a 7-12 record after their 70-13 league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC).
