Washington High School Basketball - Royal overwhelmed by Wapato
January 29, 2022: Wapato, WA 98951 The Royal Knights basketball team (Royal City, WA), was overwhelmed 65-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA)
The Wolves now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zillah for a 1A South Central - West battle on Tuesday, February 1. Wapato will confront a Leopards team coming off a 66-37 non-league win over Othello (Othello, WA). The Leopards record now stands at 11-3.
The Knights (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Connell (Connell, WA). The Eagles come into the 1A South Central - East battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Connell trounced La Salle (Union Gap, WA), 66-50, in a non-league battle.
