Nevada High School Basketball - Pyramid Lake routs Excel Christian

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Pyramid Lake Lakers basketball team scored a big 85-47 triumph over the Excel Christian Warriors.

The Lakers (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Warriors go into the 1A West contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Whittell was trounced by Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 64-13, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA) in a 1A West contest, on Friday, January 31. Excel Christian will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 4-13 record after their 71-26 league loss to Sage Ridge (Reno, NV).
