January 30, 2024: Las Cruces, NM 88011 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) and the visiting Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), saw Centennial's basketball squad overcome Gadsden by a tally of 67-52.
With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Knights in a 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Organ Mountain won 72-47 in their recent league challenge against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Panthers play the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Gadsden will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 63-52 league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
