Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) and the host Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), saw Perkins County's basketball squad wallop Maxwell by a tally of 53-28.

With the victory, Perkins County improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Akron (Akron, CO) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Akron won 61-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Fleming (Fleming, CO)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 55-47 non-league loss to Brady (Brady, NE).
