Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC), 59-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridgecroft upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Rams host Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Colts in a NCISAA Tarheel bout on Thursday, February 1. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 0-20. Albemarle School lost 79-23 in their recent league bout against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Mattamuskeet Lakers (Swan Quarter, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Pungo Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 19-4 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 59-28 league loss to Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC).
