Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA), 62-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Sioux Central upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Rebels host South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 14-3. South O'Brien won 66-64 in their recent league bout against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Friday, February 2. Storm Lake St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record.
