January 30, 2024: Indian River, MI 49749 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) and the host Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI), saw Johannesburg-Lewiston's basketball squad wallop Inland Lakes by a tally of 57-35.
With the victory, Johannesburg-Lewiston improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Mancelona (Mancelona, MI) to confront the Ironmen in a Ski-Valley challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Mancelona won 35-21 in their recent league challenge against Central Lake (Central Lake, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bellaire Eagles (Bellaire, MI) in a Ski-Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Inland Lakes will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 49-20 league win over Pellston (Pellston, MI).
