January 17, 2024: Bellaire, MI 49615 The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) basketball crushed the host Bellaire Eagles (Bellaire, MI), 46-22 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cardinals (5-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Snowbirds go into the Ski-Valley test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, St. Mary Cathedral walloped Central Lake (Central Lake, MI), 49-15, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Onaway for a Ski-Valley match on Friday, January 19. Bellaire will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 45-39 league win over Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.
