Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead triumphant over Tekamah-Herman

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) and the host Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE), observed Mead's basketball team overwhelm Tekamah-Herman by a score of 64-37.

The Raiders (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Elmwood-Murdock trounced Palmyra (Palmyra, NE), 74-65, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE).
