The American Leadership Academy - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 75-68 in Tuesday's league test.

The Warriors (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ). The Bears go into the 3A South Central test with a 24-1 record. In their last test, Coolidge was tipped by Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ), 53-51, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Gilbert Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 71-65 league win over Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 11-13.
