Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Big Spring nips Northern York

January 31, 2023: Newville, PA 17241

Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA), 41-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Big Spring upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA) to play the Rockets in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout on Friday, February 3. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-16. James Buchanan lost 58-43 in their recent league bout against West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA)

Next up, the Polar Bears play the Gettysburg Warriors (Gettysburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Northern York will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
