January 13, 2023: Greencastle, PA 17225 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils (Greencastle, PA) and the visiting Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA), saw Greencastle-Antrim's basketball squad hold off Northern York by a tally of 59-56.
With the victory, Greencastle-Antrim improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA) to play the Rockets in a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. James Buchanan lost 63-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA)
Next up, the Polar Bears play the Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Northern York will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 61-36 league loss to Hershey (Hershey, PA).
