The First Flight Nighthawks basketball team (Kill Devil Hills, NC), dropped 84-71 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC)

The Bears now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden County for a 2A/3A Conference 15 battle on Friday, February 3. Hertford County will confront a Bruins team coming off a 77-47 non-league win over Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 11-8.

The Nighthawks (12-8) will now prepare for their battle against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces come into the 2A/3A Conference 15 battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Holmes beat Currituck County (Barco, NC), 63-52, in a league battle.
