In Tuesday's league outing, the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), by a count of 63-59.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces go into the 2A/3A Conference 15 outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Holmes was tipped by Manteo (Manteo, NC), 59-47, in a league outing.

The Nighthawks now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Manteo for a 2A/3A Conference 15 outing on Thursday, December 15. First Flight will clash with a Redskins squad coming off a 59-47 league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 6-0.
