Virginia High School Basketball - Highland Springs fells Hanover
January 31, 2023: Highland Springs, VA 23075 Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA), 62-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Highland Springs upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Springers host Armstrong (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Capital bout on Friday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Armstrong lost 56-45 in their recent league bout against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital bout, on Friday, February 3. Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 60-45 league loss to Henrico (Richmond, VA).
