Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA), 75-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland Springs upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Springers host Freeman (Richmond, VA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Freeman won 44-41 in their recent league bout against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA)
