January 17, 2023: Highland Springs, VA 23075 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) and the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), saw Highland Springs's basketball squad wallop Mechanicsville by a tally of 95-29.
With the victory, Highland Springs improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Springers travel to Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Hermitage won 39-36 in their recent league challenge against Godwin (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital challenge, on Friday, January 20. Mechanicsville will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 69-54 league win over Armstrong (Richmond, VA).
