Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington winner over Berlin
January 31, 2024: Berlin, CT 06037 The Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) basketball felled the host Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT), 60-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The River Hawks (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Lions go into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Northwest Catholic was beaten by Amistad (New Haven, CT), 65-63, in a non-league test.
The Redcoats now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bristol Eastern for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Berlin will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 11-3.
