Maryland High School Basketball - Lackey knocked off by Thomas Stone
January 31, 2024: Waldorf, MD 20601 The Thomas Stone Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Lackey Chargers to 46 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern for a Southern Maryland contest on Friday, February 2. Thomas Stone will battle a Patriots team coming off a 61-46 league loss to Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 8-5.
The Chargers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Chopticon ran past North Point (Waldorf, MD), 66-52, in a league contest.
