January 31, 2024: Columbia, MD 21044 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) and the host Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), saw Oakland Mills's basketball squad overcome Atholton by a tally of 68-53.
With the victory, Oakland Mills improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to confront the Vikings in a Howard County challenge on Friday, February 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Mt. Hebron won 38-29 in their recent league challenge against Long Reach (Columbia, MD)
Next up, the Raiders confront the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Friday, February 2. Atholton will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 58-13 league win over Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD).
