The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) and the host Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), observed Lunenburg Central's basketball team knock off Amelia County by a score of 46-38.

The Chargers (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights come into the James River challenge with a 12-4 record.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3.
