Iowa High School Basketball - H-L-V holds off B-G-M
January 31, 2025: Brooklyn, IA 52211 The H-L-V Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host B-G-M Bears to 50 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. H-L-V will confront a Ravens team coming off a 51-40 league loss to Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Ravens record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, B-G-M falls to 4-18 on the campaign. The Bears host Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-11.
