Iowa High School Basketball - Colfax-Mingo trounced by H-L-V
January 21, 2025: Victor, IA 52347 H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), 61-33 in a league match.
With the victory, H-L-V advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA) to meet the Hawks in a South Iowa Cedar match on Friday, January 24. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 11-4. Lynnville-Sully lost 62-55 in their recent league match against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA)
The Tigerhawks now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to B-G-M for a South Iowa Cedar match on Friday, January 24. Colfax-Mingo will meet a Bears squad coming off a 67-56 league loss to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Bears record now stands at 3-15.
