The Washburn Beavers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting East Grand Vikings to 15 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.

The Beavers now have a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Easton for a D North game on Tuesday, February 4. Washburn will confront a Bears team coming off a 79-25 league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Bears record now stands at 10-7.
