Maine High School Basketball - Madawaska routs Washburn
December 30, 2024: Washburn, ME In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Madawaska Owls basketball team scored a big 60-36 win over the Washburn Beavers.
The Owls (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, East Grand was trounced by Easton (Easton, ME), 68-12, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Beavers battle the Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Washburn will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 60-30 non-league loss to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME).
