Maine High School Basketball - Madawaska crushes East Grand
January 3, 2025: Madawaska, ME 04756 The Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME) basketball crushed the visiting East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME), 82-25 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Owls now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Central Aroostook for a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. Madawaska will play a Panthers team coming off a 78-70 non-league loss to Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, East Grand falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME) to play the Cougars in a D North bout on Monday, January 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Katahdin won 64-28 in their recent league bout against Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME)
