January 31, 2025: Lansing, IL 60438 In Friday's league test, the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), by a score of 85-51.
Next, the Hawks clash with the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban test, on Tuesday, February 4. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 15-8 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 10-16 record after their 67-30 league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).
The Red Wolves (11-16) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins come into the non-league test with a 12-8 record.
