Maryland High School Basketball - Northern knocks off Thomas Stone

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) and the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), observed Northern's basketball team overcome Thomas Stone by a score of 62-49.

The Patriots (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 8-8 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Thomas Stone will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record.
