In Friday's league test, the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA), by a score of 72-58.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Stratford Academy will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 13-8 record after their 68-52 league loss to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA).
