In Friday's league test, the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA), by a score of 54-27.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. John Milledge Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 13-1 record after their 62-34 non-league win over Southland Academy (Americus, GA).

The Cougars (4-13) will now prepare for their test against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Vikings come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, First Presbyterian Day was routed by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 89-37, in a league test.
