The Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) basketball edged the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 55-53 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bruins now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Northeastern for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Camden County will play a Eagles team coming off a 84-74 non-league loss to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
