North Carolina High School Basketball - First Flight nudges Currituck County

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) and the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), observed First Flight's basketball team edge Currituck County by a score of 53-46.

The Nighthawks (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Camden County was tipped by Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 48-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 31. Currituck County will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
